Alisa Carswell, of Lucky Design 7, landed in Asheville, North Carolina upon completion of her BFA from Western Carolina University. For the next six years, she paid her sweat dues and learned the ins and outs of design (in the non academic world) at Design One in Asheville. In 2003, the entrepreneurial drive struck and she started her grass roots design firm in downtown Asheville. The combination of a fierce work ethic, raw talent, and the utmost respect for those who she collaborates with, make hiring her a no-brainer. In the last two years she worked for a bucketful of grateful clients and has gained a great reputation to boot.
